The Bitizen wallet represents a significant advancement in the realm of crypto and Web3 security solutions by eliminating the need for seed phrases and private keys. Its design emphasizes both security and user-friendliness, utilizing modern cryptographic techniques such as keyless signatures and seedless recovery methods.

In particular, the wallet employs a threshold signature scheme (TSS) combined with multi-party computation (MPC), ensuring that private keys— or portions thereof—are never created, stored, or shared at any point during cryptographic operations. By applying a Distributed Key Generation (DKG) protocol, the traditional approach of a single private key is replaced with multiple independently generated mathematical shares. These shares collaboratively sign transactions within a distributed protocol, effectively mitigating risks associated with private key theft and single points of failure.
